The weather in Vale Do Lobo and the Algarve in general provides almost perfect year round temperatures. I have never counted them but it is said that the Algrave gets over 300 days of sunshine per year. This makes for perfect golfing conditions, and while the rest of Europe is freezing over the winter months people flock here to play in the warm sunlight.
The Algarve is Portugal's most southern region and is separated from its neighbouring Alentejo region by the mountains of Serra de Monchique to the west and the Serra do Caldeirao to the east. The Algarve has one of the most stable climates in the world which is influenced by both the Atlantic and Mediterranean Oceans and its proximity to North Africa, making it a great tourist destination throughout the year.
From the end of May until the end of September the Vale Do Lobo weather is normally hot and sunny with just the odd cloudy day. In the spring and autumn you will need to bring a jacket and jumper as you can get some fairly chilly evenings, but if the sun is out during the day then it will be hot enough to do some sunbathing.
Below is a climate chart detailing the minimum and maximum average temperatures as well as the average hours of sunshine for the Faro/Vale do Lobo area.

The weather in Vale Do Lobo over the winter can be a mixture of warm, wet or cold days. Generally though if you are here for a few days or a week you should experience far better weather than anywhere else in Northern Europe. The warm summer Vale Do Lobo weather also means that you should seriously consider hiring a car with air conditioning as it can get pretty uncomfortable driving around without air con in the hot summer months.
