Vale Do Lobo Shopping

Apart from playing Golf, eating and lazing on the beach all day the next thing we all seem to look for is shopping. Vale Do Lobo has it´s own small shopping center with a range of upmarket shops that will quench any immediate shopping thirst and we have listed the shops, the opening times and what they sell below. You can also find a couple of gift shops in the main plaza (Praca) area down by the sea. The shops sell everthing from exclusive diamond earrings to up market clothes from Tommy Hilfiger.

There is also a small supermarket by the main entrance to Vale Do Lobo but although convenient, we found that it was a little expensive.

If you head into the nearby town of Almancil (10 min's by car) you will find a well stocked and largish supermarket called Apollonia. This supermarket has a great range of fresh produce such as meat, fish, fruit and vegetables along with an enormous range of UK brand products that you will be familiar with. If you are staying for longer than a few days then it is worth a trip to Almancil and this supermarket.

The Vale Do Lobo Pharmacy, Farmosa is listed below and you will also find the Newspaper shop in the center. It stocks a selection of newspapers in many different languages and is open everyday between 10:00 and 19:00.
