Formosa Park Hotel Vale Do Lobo

The Formosa Park Hotel is one of only four Hotels that are in the resort of Vale Do Lobo, the other three are Barringtons the Dona Filipa Hotel, Ria Park Spa Hotel and the Ria Park Garden Hotel .

You will find the Hotel on the coast road just outside Vale Do lobo. It also has a great play area to keep the kids occupied. We found there were some excellent deals on this Hotel through holidayhotels.co.uk.

Vale Do Lobo is a Golf and Holiday resort at it´s finest. It boasts two of the best golf courses on the Algarve and there are an excellent selection of beaches and sporting facilities. There are also some wonderful restaurants in Vale Do Lobo, in fact one of our favourites, Julia's Beach restaurant, is within walking distance of the Formosa Park Hotel.

Accommodation

The hotel accommodation comprises 61 luxury Suite Apartments including 37 two-bedroom Suite Apartments and 24 one-bedroom Suite Apartments

The spacious suites are fully equipped and furnished to the highest standards of comfort with a living area and a large terrace which looks out on to the beautifully landscaped gardens. Many of the suites have views over the pool and ocean.

Eating & Drinking

Snacks menu: 11:00-19.30 as well as the Arcos Restaurant which offers a gourmet selection of local and international dishes. Meal times are as follows:

Buffet breakfast: 07.30-10.30
Lunch: 12.30-15.00
Dinner: 19.30-22.30pm

Sports & Leisure

The hotel has its own Golf Course, Pinheiros Altos, but you are also within stumbling distance of the Ocean Golf Course and the Royal Golf Course in Vale Do Lobo. Residents have preferred access and rates to Pinheiros Altos course. In the immediate area you will also find horse riding, tennis, carting, Water Park and casino in Vilamoura. The Formosa Park Hotel has 2 outdoor swimming pools - adults and children. If you head for the beach during summer period you will find: water skiing, banana boats, hobby cat, para shoot 1/2 pax, pedalos, kayaks, etc.

Other Information

The Formosa Park Hotel is also able to organise a full range of services such as car hire, baby sitting and a free shuttle bus to the shopping at La Quinta Shopping Center. Over the summer months the sun beds and umbrellas on the beach are free of charge.

The Four Star Formosa Park Aparthotel is around 20 minutes from Faro Airport or as an alternative you could fly into Seville Airport which is about a two hour drive away. (There is not currently any border control between Portugal and Spain.)
