Driving Directions To Vale Do Lobo

Driving from Faro Airport to Vale Do Lobo will only take between 20 and 30 minutes, its a short, straight forward trip of around 20 kms on good roads. If at anytime you get confused with the driving instructions that I have written below please just head for the signs for Almancil and Portimao.

Direction to Vale Do Lobo from Faro Airport

Leave the Airport by following the signs to the N125 Faro
As you leave the airport there is a Cespa Garage on your left-you will be on the main dual carriageway now.
Stay on this road for 2.2kms then take the Portimao/Loule exit.
The road bends around and you join another dual carriageway.
Drive along this road past the car garages (Honda, Mercedes, Smart etc)
After 3.5 kms take the exit marked N125 Faro / Almancil
Follow this road through the village of Troto
After 4 kms take the exit Almancil
Follow the road into the town of Almancil you will see Shoe World on your left
After about 2 kms you will come to a set of traffic lights
Go straight at the lights and after about 50m turn right (Vale Do Lobo Sign )
After 100m go straight at roundabout
Further 50m turn right at the road junction
Drive along this road for 2.5 kms until you come to a T-Junction
Turn right at the T-Junction and drive for 2.5kms and you will see the main entrance to Vale Do Lobo on your right.

These directions were actually taken by me as I drove from Faro Airport to Vale Do Lobo in May 2005 and obviously dont take into account any road works which may happen in the future. If at anytime you get a little lost just head for ALMANCIL as Vale Do Lobo is well sign posted from there.
